Relative dates of publication not clearly established. •Valid as Paraglyphidodon Bleeker 1876 [often seen as 1877] -- (Shen & Chan 1979:64 [ref. 6944], Yoshino in Masuda et al. 1984:198 [ref. 6441], Allen 1986:679 [ref. 5631]). •Synonym of Chrysiptera Swainson 1839 -- (Kottelat 2013:376 [ref. 32989], Parenti 2021:59 [ref. 38418]).
