Originally albo-maculatus, correction mandatory. •Valid as Paralabrax albomaculatus (Jenyns 1840) -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:113 [ref. 22193], Grove & Lavenberg 1997:326 [ref. 24023], Rojas M. & Pequeño 2001:164 [ref. 25813], Pondella et al. 2003:182 [ref. 29770], McCosker & Rosenblatt 2010:191 [ref. 30957], Parenti & Randall 2020:120 [ref. 37354]). Current status: Valid as Paralabrax albomaculatus (Jenyns 1840). Serranidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Galápagos Islands endemic. Habitat: marine.
