Paratypes: CAS 51781 (2), LACM (35, 19 lots); USNM 247249-50 (1, 1). •Valid as Paraliparis nassarum Stein & Fitch 1984 -- (Stein et al. 2001:400 [ref. 25901], Stein & Chernova 2002:158 [ref. 26234], Chernova et al. 2004:43 [ref. 27592], Love et al. 2005:107 [ref. 37547], Busby & Cartwright 2009:245 [ref. 30300], Love et al. 2021:142 [ref. 39279]). Current status: Valid as Paraliparis nassarum Stein & Fitch 1984. Liparidae. Distribution: Northeastern Pacific: southern California (U.S.A.) south to Pacific coast of northern Baja California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
