Syntypes: (1 lot) Near Briançon, elev. 1800 m, (many) Lake Sarailley, near Brainçon, elev. 2250 m. Additional material: Lake Grande Saint-Bernard, Switzerland, 2472 m. Objectively invalid; preoccupied by Phoxinus montanus Ogérien 1863. 1°Homonym. Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Habitat: freshwater.

Neotype designated by Kottelat 1997:59 [ref. 22952]. •Synonym of Eupallasella perenurus (Pallas 1814) -- (Kottelat 1997:58 [ref. 22952]). •Synonym of Phoxinus percnurus (Pallas 1814). •Synonym of Rhynchocypris percnurus (Pallas 1814). ujmonensis, Phoxinus laevis Kaschenko [N.] 1899:144 [Results of the Altai Zoological Expedition; ref. 19630] Katun River, near Uimon village, Altai, Ob River basin, Siberia, Russia. Syntypes: (4) whereabouts unknown. Lectotype established by Berg 1949:592, Fig. 349 if specimen is identifiable. Author also seen as Kashchenko.
