Paratypes: CAS 94464-69 (2, 22, 2, 1, 56, 10); MCSNG 48357 (1). •Valid as Poropuntius scapanognathus Roberts 1998. •Synonym of Poropuntius hampaloides (Vinciguerra 1890) with question -- (Kottelat 2013:144 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Poropuntius hampaloides (Vinciguerra 1890). Cyprinidae: Cyprininae. Distribution: Thanland (if valid). Habitat: freshwater.
