Paratypes: USNM 143307 (4). •Synonym of Atherinomorus insularum (Jordan & Evermann 1903) -- (Myers & Donaldson 2003:615 [ref. 27495], Randall 2007:136 [ref. 30952] but with investigation needed for subspecies status). Current status: Synonym of Atherinomorus insularum (Jordan & Evermann 1903). Atherinidae: Atherinomorinae. Habitat: marine.
