Paratypes: BPBM 14201 [ex UH 1704] (8), USNM 215323 (1). •Valid as Priolepis limbatosquamis (Gosline 1959) -- (Winterbottom & Burridge 1993:2068 [ref. 21406], Greenfield & Randall 2004:542 [ref. 28175], Mundy 2005:480 [ref. 28379], Randall 2007:403 [ref. 30952], Hoese & Larson 2010:387 [ref. 31045]). Current status: Valid as Priolepis limbatosquamis (Gosline 1959). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Central Pacific: Johnston Atoll and Hawaiian Islands. Habitat: marine.
