Current status: Valid as Kraemeria nuda (Regan 1908). Gobiidae: Kraemeriinae. Distribution: Southern Red Sea; western Indian Ocean: Mozambique, Seychelles, Mascarenes (Mauritius), Chagos Archipelago (British Indian Ocean Territory). Habitat: brackish, marine.
