Distribution: Western and Central Pacific, antiequatorial: Micronesia, Ogasawara Islands and Wake Island east to Hawaiian Islands; New Caledonia, Lau Group (Fiji) and Tonga east to Pitcairn Group, south to Austral Islands. Habitat: marine.
