Holotype: LACM 21557 [ex AHF 905]. Paratypes: LACM 21707 [ex AHF 906] (1). •Valid as Pseudomyrophis micropinna Wade 1946 -- (McCosker 1977:61 [ref. 6836], McCosker et al. 1989:289 [ref. 13288], Bussing & López S. 1994:44 [ref. 23101], McCosker & Rosenblatt in Fischer et al. 1995:1340 [ref. 22830], Nelson et al. 2004:64 [ref. 27807], Page et al. 2013:64 [ref. 32708], Page et al. 2023:55 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Pseudomyrophis micropinna Wade 1946. Ophichthidae: Myrophinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
