Subjectively invalid; secondarily preoccupied in Pterygotrigla by Pterygotrigla macrorhynchus Kamohara 1936. •Synonym of Pterygotrigla macrorhynchus Kamohara 1936 -- (Richards 1999:2376 [ref. 24797]). 2°Homonym. Current status: Synonym of Pterygotrigla macrorhynchus Kamohara 1936. Triglidae: Pterygotriglinae. Habitat: marine.
