Current status: Valid as Rohanella titteya (Deraniyagala 1929). Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: South Asia: western and southwestern river basins, Sri Lanka. Introduced in Hong Kong (China), and Mexico. Habitat: freshwater.
