Type catalog: Nijssen et al. 1982:71 [ref. 19236]. Combined with a neuter genus, the adjective should be manaense. •Synonym of Rivulus agilae Hoedeman 1954 -- (Huber 1992:87, 305 [ref. 20639], Huber 1999:50 [ref. 23834], Lazara 2001:270 [ref. 25711], Costa in Reis et al. 2003:534 [ref. 27061]). •Valid as Laimosemion manaense (Hoedeman 1961) -- (Costa 2011:239 [ref. 31655] as manaensis). •Synonym of Laimosemion agilae (Hoedeman 1954).
