Opinion 1798 (Case 2722) gives precedence to marmoratus over the specific name ocellatus Hensel 1868 when the 2 names are considered synonyms. Lectotype selected by Rivas 1945:45 [ref. 20642], but syntype status disputed in Smith & Lazara 1990:191 [ref. 20643].
