Paratypes: CAS-SU 7696 (1), 7850 (1), 23296 (1); USFC 2755 (1, whereabouts unknown). •Valid as Calotomus zonarchus (Jenkins 1903) -- (Bellwood 1994:64 [ref. 19116], Bruce & Randall 1985:21 [ref. 5234], Parenti & Randall 2000:51 [ref. 24943], Mundy 2005:451 [ref. 28379], Randall 2007:360 [ref. 30952]). Current status: Valid as Calotomus zonarchus (Jenkins 1903). Labridae. Distribution: Hawaiian Islands. Habitat: marine.
