Type catalog: Fricke et al. 2018:[15] [ref. 36159]. •Valid as Scorpaena pascuensis Eschmeyer & Allen 1971 -- (Pequeño 1989:57 [ref. 14125], Fricke et al. 2018:[15] [ref. 36159]). •In Sebastapistes -- (Wibowo & Motomura 2021:[4] [ref. 38565]). Current status: Valid as Sebastapistes pascuensis (Eschmeyer & Allen 1971). Scorpaenidae: Scorpaeninae. Distribution: Southeastern Pacific: Easter Island endemic. Habitat: marine.
