Holotype: UMMZ 92647. Paratypes: UMMZ 92648 (1). Appeared as Sebastodes littoris with hand corrections in reprints with a separate correction slip mailed out to change name to litoris, but the original spelling probably should stand. •Synonym of Sebastes caurinus Richardson 1844 -- (Love et al. 2002:146 [ref. 26216] as litoris).
