Current status: Valid as Sicyopterus micrurus (Bleeker 1854). Oxudercidae: Sicydiinae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Oceam, western Pacific: Timor and Maluku (Indonesia). Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
