Current status: Valid as Siganus unimaculatus (Evermann & Seale 1907). Siganidae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Philippines, Ryukyu Islands, Ogasawara Islands, and isolated population at Rowley Shoals (northeast shelf of Australia). Habitat: marine.
