Type catalog: Post 1972:155 [ref. 20860], Wilkens & Dohse 1993:411 [ref. 21161]. Maculisudis longipinnis Kotthaus 1967 and Stemonosudis rothschildi Richards 1967 appeared in the same year, but Richards 1967 [ref. 7991] appeared in Jan. and has apparently priority; Stemonosudis rothschildi is also in prevailing usage. •Synonym of Stemonosudis rothschildi Richards 1967 -- (Post 1971:740 [ref. 36812], Ho et al. 2019:218 [ref. 37156]). Current status: Synonym of Stemonosudis rothschildi Richards 1967. Paralepididae. Habitat: marine.
