Distribution: Western Indian Ocean: Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa), East Africa (Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia) and Madagascar east to northwestern India. IUCN (2019): Least Concern. Habitat: marine.
