Current status: Valid as Stigmatogobius pleurostigma (Bleeker 1849). Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Vietnam, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo, Sumatra and Java. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.

Current status: Synonym of Stigmatogobius pleurostigma (Bleeker 1849). Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
