Holotype: KUMF 1894 (45.5 mm) or KUMF 182. Paratypes: KUMF 1894 (4). •Synonym of Stigmatogobius pleurostigma (Bleeker 1849) -- (Larson 2001:211 [ref. 25522], Larson 2005:357 [ref. 28521], Kottelat 2013:430 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Stigmatogobius pleurostigma (Bleeker 1849). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
