Paratypes: AMS I.29998-001 (1); CAS 67518 (7), 67528 (1); USNM 236403 (2). •Valid as Stiphodon hydoreibatus Watson 1999 -- (Larson & Murdy 2001:3603 [ref. 26293] as hydroreibatus, Watson et al. 2005:340 [ref. 28468], Keith & Marquet 2007:49 [ref. 29176], Keith et al. 2009:473 [ref. 30474], Keith et al. 2015:194 [ref. 34328]). Current status: Valid as Stiphodon hydoreibatus Watson 1999. Oxudercidae: Sicydiinae. Distribution: American Samoa and Futuna [amphidromous]. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
