Type catalog: Ibarra & Stewart 1987:83 [ref. 12367]. •Valid as Tetraodon kretamensis Inger 1953 -- (Dekkers 1975:121 [ref. 7417], Kottelat et al. 1993:174 [ref. 23448], Ebert 2001:60 [ref. 25494]). •Valid as Dichotomyctere kretamensis (Inger 1853) -- (Kottelat 2013:475 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Dichotomyctere kretamensis (Inger 1953). Tetraodontidae. Distribution: Malaysia and Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
