Plus non-type material (tissue samples). •Valid as Trimma gigantum Winterbottom & Zur 2007 -- (Dimara et al. 2010:621 [ref. 31108], Allen & Erdmann 2012:1203 [ref. 31980], Winterbottom et al. 2014:426 [ref. 33155], Winterbottom & Hoese 2015:41, 87 [ref. 33709], Winterbottom 2019:9 [ref. 37115]). Current status: Valid as Trimma gigantum Winterbottom & Zur 2007. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Philippines east to Palau; Raja Ampat Islands (West Papua, Indonesia).
