Holotype: SCUM 200707177008. Paratypes: IHASW 20070717009 (1), 20060715001-4 (4); SCUM 20070717001-02 (2), 20070717003 (1), 20070717004-07 (4). •Valid as Triplophysa lixianensis He, Song & Zhang 2008 -- (Kottelat 2012:127 [ref. 32367], Zhang et al. 2016:139 [ref. 34477], Wu et al. 2016:295 [ref. 34665]). •Synonym of Triplophysa stenura (Herzenstein 1888) -- (Guo 2021:599 [ref. 38618]).
