Genus is correctly Nemacheilus. •Valid as Nemacheilus baenzigeri (Kottelat 1983) -- (Bănărescu & Nalbant 1995:435 [ref. 23187] as baezingeri). •Valid as Tuberoschistura baenzigeri (Kottelat 1983) -- (Kottelat 1990:233 [ref. 14137], Doi 1997:18 [ref. 22832], Kottelat 2012:134 [ref. 32367] Kottelat 2013:214 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:222 [ref. 39830]). Current status: Valid as Tuberoschistura baenzigeri (Kottelat 1983). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Malay Peninsula and Chao Phraya River basin, Thailand. Habitat: freshwater.
