Current status: Valid as Xenentodon canciloides (Bleeker 1854). Belonidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Malaya (Malaysia), Sumatra (Indonesia), western Borneo. Introduced in Yunnan/China. Habitat: freshwater.
