Current status: Valid as Zebrasoma rostratum (Günther 1875). Acanthuridae. Distribution: Central Pacific: Line Islands, Marquesas Islands, Society Islands, Rapa, Tuamotu Archipelago; waifs reaching Hawaiian Islands. Habitat: marine.
