kalosoma, Julis (Halichoeres) Bleeker [P.] 1852:289 [Natuurkundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch Indië v. 3 (no. 2); ref. 16825] Ambon Island, Molucca Islands, and Wahai, northern Ceram, Indonesia. Lectotype: RMNH 6577 (now 1). Possible paralectotypes: BMNH 1862.2.28.113 (1), NMV A2056 (1), RMNH 29405 (up to 4 of 35). Emended to kallosoma by Bleeker 1862:290 [ref. 16995]. Lectotype selected by Randall 2000:17 [ref. 24432]. •Synonym of Stethojulis interrupta (Bleeker 1851) -- (Dor 1984:207 [ref. 29757], Randall 1986:703 [ref. 5706] as kallasoma, Randall et al. 1990:334 [ref. 15987], Randall 1995:289 [ref. 22896], Randall 2000:16 [ref. 24432], Parenti & Randall 2000:39 [ref. 24943], Randall & Victor 2022:251 [ref. 39916]). Current status: Synonym of Stethojulis interrupta (Bleeker 1851). Labridae. Habitat: marine.
