quagga, Rupiscartes Fowler [H. W.] & Ball [S. C.] 1924:273 [Proceedings of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia v. 76; ref. 1471] Wake Island, central Pacific. Holotype: BPBM 3420. Paratypes: ANSP 91013 (9), 91191 (10); BPBM 10436 (9); USNM 109368 (2). Type catalog: Böhlke 1984:30 [ref. 13621], Springer et al. 1991:19 [ref. 18888].
