Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: South Africa, East Africa, Persian Gulf, Madagascar and La Réunion, Mauritius and Rodrigues (Mascarenes) east to Indonesia, north to Amami Islands (southern Japan), south to northern Australia. Habitat: marine.
