Current status: Valid as Ptereleotris grammica Randall & Lubbock 1982. Microdesmidae: Ptereleotrinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Philippines east to Palau and Solomon Islands, north to southern Japan, south to Queensland (Australia). Habitat: marine.
