Parenti 2003:500 [ref. 27322] serves as first reviser selecting Sciaena cylindrica Bloch 1792 as having priority over Perca tessellata Walbaum 1792. •Synonym of Parapercis cylindrica (Bloch 1792) -- (Parenti 2003:500 [ref. 27322]).
