Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa), East Africa, Seychelles, Comoros, Madagascar and eastern Mascarenes (Rodrigues) east to Marshall Islands and Fiji, north to Amami Islands (southern Japan), south to Queensland (Australia) and Solomon Islands. Habitat: marine.
