Broadly hybridizes with Zebrasoma scopas in western Pacific [ref. 36114]. Habitat: marine.

No types preserved. Based on a drawing by Kittlitz (Friedrich Heinrich Freiherr von Kittlitz, 1799-1874, German ornithologist and naturalist). Broadly hybridizes with Zebrasoma flavescens in western Pacific [ref. 36114]. Habitat: marine.
