Holotype [spec. no. 15] and paratypes: (at least 6). •Valid as Barbodes manguaoensis (Day 1914) -- (Kottelat 2013:79 [ref. 32989], Tan & Husana 2021:321 [ref. 38614], Jamandre 2023:165 [ref. 40455]). Current status: Valid as Barbodes manguaoensis (Day 1914). Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Palawan (Philippines) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
