Declared nomen oblitum by Lima 2017:155 [ref. 35071]. •Questionably a senior synonym of Brycon falcatus Müller & Troschel 1844 -- (Howes 1982:26 [ref. 14201]). •Species inquirenda in Characidae, subfamily Bryconinae -- (Lima in Reis et al. 2003:178 [ref. 27061]). Nomen Oblitum. Current status: Synonym of Brycon falcatus Müller & Troschel 1844. Bryconidae: Bryconinae. Habitat: freshwater.
