guttata, Cobitis McClelland [J.] 1839:305, 438, Pl. 52 (figs. 5-6) [Asiatic Researches v. 19 (pt 2); ref. 2923] Upper Assam, India. Holotype (unique): SMF 409. •Questionably a synonym of Lepidocephalichthys guntea (Hamilton 1822) -- (Kottelat 2012:33 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:179 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Uncertain as Lepidocephalichthys guntea (Hamilton 1822). Cobitidae. Habitat: freshwater.
