Replacement name for Paratilapia pectoralis Boulenger 1911, secondarily preoccupied by Ctenochromis pectoralis Pfeffer 1893. •Valid as Haplochromis squamulatus Regan 1922 -- (Greenwood 1967:87 [ref. 7965], van Oijen et al. 1991:176 [ref. 20956]). Replacement Name. Current status: Valid as Haplochromis squamulatus Regan 1922. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Victoria; extinct. Habitat: freshwater.
