Holotype: USNM 427497. Paratypes: USNM 427498 (5). •Valid as Julidochromis marksmithi Burgess 2014 -- (Konings 2019:270 [ref. 36983]). Current status: Valid as Julidochromis marksmithi Burgess 2014. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: East coast of Lake Tanganyika. Habitat: freshwater.
