Paratypes: ZMH H7159 (1), plus additional material. Type catalog: Wilkens & Dohse 1993:415 [ref. 21161]. Described with two subspecies, ravnaki and australe. •Valid as Nomorhamphus ravnaki Brembach 1991 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:87 [ref. 23448]). •Synonym of Nomorhamphus brembachi Vogt 1978 -- (Meisner 2001:245 [ref. 25599], Collette 2004:17 [ref. 27583], Huylebrouck et al. 2012:483 [ref. 32159], Kottelat 2013:294 [ref. 32989], Huylebrouck et al. 2014:208 [ref. 33515], Miesen et al. 2016:86 [ref. 34492]). Current status: Synonym of Nomorhamphus brembachi Vogt 1978. Zenarchopteridae. Habitat: freshwater.

australe, Nomorhamphus ravnaki Brembach [M.] 1991:185, Fig. [Lebendgebärende Halbschnäbler; ref. 20227] Mountain stream near Bossolo, Maros highlands, southern Sulawesi, Indonesia. Holotype: ZMH H7161 (female). Paratypes: ZMH H7162 (1); plus additional material. Type catalog: Wilkens & Dohse 1993:415 [ref. 21161]. Should be emended to Nomorhamphus ravnaki australis as by Kottelat et al. 1993. •Valid as Nomorhamphus australis Brembach 1991 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:86 [ref. 23448]). •Synonym of Nomorhamphus brembachi Vogt 1978 -- (Meisner 2001:245 [ref. 25599], Collette 2004:17 [ref. 27583], Kottelat 2013:294 [ref. 32989], Huylebrouck et al. 2014:204 [ref. 33515], Miesen et al. 2016:86 [ref. 34492]). Current status: Synonym of Nomorhamphus brembachi Vogt 1978. Zenarchopteridae. Habitat: freshwater.

Paratypes: ZMH 7166 (2). •Valid as Nomorhamphus brembachi Vogt 1978 -- (Meisner 2001:245 [ref. 25599], Collette 2004:17 [ref. 27583], Huylebrouck et al. 2012:483 [ref. 32159], Kottelat 2013:294 [ref. 32989], Miesen et al. 2016:86 [ref. 34492], Kraemer et al. 2019:295 [ref. 37368]). Current status: Valid as Nomorhamphus brembachi Vogt 1978. Zenarchopteridae. Distribution: Maros highland, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.

sanussii, Nomorhamphus Brembach [M.] 1991:187, Fig. [Lebendgebärende Halbschnäbler; ref. 20227] Mountain brook at Segoja, southern South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Holotype: ZMH H7614 (female). Paratypes: ZMH H7615 (1). Additional material: ZMH 6716 (20). Type catalog: Wilkens & Dohse 1993:415 [ref. 21161]. •Valid as Nomorhamphus sanussii Brembach 1991 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:87 [ref. 23448]). •Synonym of Nomorhmaphus brembachi Vogt 1978 -- (Meisner 2001:245 [ref. 25599], Collette 2004:17 [ref. 27583], Kottelat 2013:294 [ref. 32989], Miesen et al. 2016:86 [ref. 34492]).
