Lectotype selected by Londoño-Burbano & Román-Valencia 2010:813 [ref. 30823]. •Valid as Parodon caliensis Boulenger 1895 -- (Pavanelli in Reis et al. 2003:47 [ref. 27061], Londoño-Burbano & Román-Valencia 2010:814 [ref. 30823], Londoño-Burbano et al. 2011:719 [ref. 31702], DoNascimiento et al. 2017:36 [ref. 35633]). Current status: Valid as Parodon caliensis Boulenger 1895. Parodontidae. Distribution: South America: upper Cauca River basin, Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.

No types known. •Synonym of Parodon caliensis Boulenger 1895 -- (Pavanelli in Reis et al. 2003:47 [ref. 27061]). •Status uncertain in Parodon or Saccodon -- (Londoño-Burbano et al. 2011:727 [ref. 31702]). Current status: Synonym of Parodon caliensis Boulenger 1895. Parodontidae. Habitat: freshwater.
