Genus is correctly Nemacheilus. See Das 2003:367 [ref. 27706]. •Questionably a synonym of Nemacheilus baluchiorum Zugmayer 1912 -- (Talwar & Jhingran 1991:471 [ref. 20764]). •Questionable a synonym of Schistura baluchiorum (Zugmayer 1912). •Valid as Schistura rajasthanica (Mathur & Yazdani 1971) -- (Kottelat 2012:116 [ref. 32367]). Current status: Valid as Schistura rajasthanica (Mathur & Yazdani 1971). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: India. Habitat: freshwater.
