Current status: Valid as Triplophysa shehensis Menon 1987. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: India. Habitat: freshwater.

Holotype: NRS/ZSI 1208. Paratypes: ZRS/ZSI 1209 (4), 1210 (25). Publication possibly not until 1997 according to Kottelat 2012:131 [ref. 32367]. •Synonym of Triplophysa shehensis Menon 1987 -- (Kottelat 2012:131 [ref. 32367]). 2°Homonym. Current status: Synonym of Triplophysa shehensis Menon 1987. Nemacheilidae. Habitat: freshwater.
