Current status: Valid as Oncorhynchus virginalis (Girard 1856). Salmonidae: Salmoninae. Distribution: North America: Rio Grande drainage and Rocky Mountains River drainages, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico (U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
