lordii, Salmo Günther [A.] 1866:148 [Catalogue of the fishes in the British Museum v. 6; ref. 1983] Skagit River, western slope of Cascade Mts., western North America. Syntypes: (2) BMNH. See Mecklenburg et al. 2002:200 [ref. 25968] as lordi. •Synonym of Salvelinus malma (Walbaum 1792) -- (Scott & Crossman 1998:219 [ref. 24570]). •Synonym of Salvelinus malma (Walbaum 1792), but a valid subspecies lordii -- (Gritsenko et al. 1998:195 [ref. 24673], Scharpf 2006:34 [ref. 30386], Oleinik et al. 2015:Eng. 62 [ref. 33831] as lordi). Current status: Synonym of Salvelinus malma (Walbaum 1792). Salmonidae: Salmoninae. Distribution: Bering and East Pacific [this subspecies]. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
