Species account indicates illustration on fig. 4 of Pl. 17, but description matches fig. 3. •Synonym of Exoglossum maxillingua (Lesueur 1817) -- (Smith 1986:132 [ref. 22186], Gilbert 1998:41 [ref. 23395]). Current status: Synonym of Exoglossum maxillingua (Lesueur 1817). Leuciscidae: Pogonichthyinae. Habitat: freshwater.
