Hamilton's original, unpublished illustration reproduced by Britz 2019:Pl. 138 [ref. 37532]. •Valid as Gonialosa manmina (Hamilton 1822) -- (Whitehead 1985:256 [ref. 5141], Ataur Rahman 1989:256 [ref. 24860], Talwar & Jhingran 1991:107 [ref. 20764], Rafique 2000:323 [ref. 25220], Mirza 2003:3 [ref. 27265], Ataur Rahman 2003:280 [ref. 31338] as manminna, Suresh et al. 2018:68 [ref. 36495], Kosygin et al. 2022:650 [ref. 40736] as Goniolosa manmina). Current status: Valid as Gonialosa manmina (Hamilton 1822). Dorosomatidae. Distribution: South Asia: Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
